Jerry F. Calloway, age 42, of
Bridgeton died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical Center. He had been a patient there for one day and in declining
health for several years.
A lifetime Bridgeton resident, Jerry
was born in Bridgeton and was the son of Gertrude McMiller Calloway and
the late John Calloway, Sr. He was the husband of Shirlita Pulley
Calloway.
Prior to his disability he had owned
and operated Little J’s Handyman Service and had also previously worked
at Casa de Bertachi in Vineland, Red Pack Company in Cedarville and
Minot’s in Bridgeton.
He was a member of the Revival
Fellowship Church in Bridgeton.
In addition to his wife and mother he
is survived by two sons, Jeremiah and Joshua Calloway both at home and
two daughters, Shanteya and Shatyra Calloway at home; three brothers,
John Calloway, Jr., Steven Calloway and Darryl Calloway all of
Bridgeton; three sisters, Zelda Ouma of Trenton, Amanda Wilmore of
Bridgeton, Kimberly Calloway of Bridgeton and several nieces, nephews,
great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Wednesday, October 31st at 12 noon.
Burial will take place at Cedar Hill
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11
a.m. to 12 noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
