Harry S. Grace, Jr., age 63 of
Fairfield Township died early Thursday morning, October 25, 2007 at his
home. He had been in declining health for the past year.
Born in Fairton, he was the son of
the late Harry and Pearl Cheesman Grace and had lived at his present
address for the past two years. Prior to that he had been a Cedarville
resident since 1947.
Before his retirement due to
disability, he had owned and operated his own trucking company in
Cedarville for several years. He had also previously been employed as a
mechanic with K & M Diesel in Cedarville and the former Owens Illinois
Glass Company in Bridgeton for many years.
Harry was an avid hunter and
fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He was always eager to give a
helping hand to someone in need and enjoyed spending time with his
family and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Grace
Reilly of Lawrence Township, sons Harry S. Grace, III and Zane S. Grace
both of Pennsylvania, daughters, Averi Williams and Tracy Everland and a
son, Larry Pastuch. Also surviving are his fiancée, Gladys Vojcsik and
best friend, Chris Adams of Millville and four sisters, Harriet
Marguglio and Betty Richards both of Millville and Cecelia Davis and
Sondra Brecht both of Florida along with several grandchildren, nieces
and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Sonja Grace.
Relatives and friends are invited to
attend memorial services at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street,
Cedarville on Saturday, October 27th at 2:30 pm.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Grace’s memory be made to the Animal Friends
Foundation, Inc., 1370 South Main Road, # 38, Vineland, NJ 08360.
