Florence A. Borden, age 83, of
Hopewell Township died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Rainbow Center
in Pittsgrove Township following an extended illness.
Born August 21, 1924 in Milton,
Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James and Miriam
Cornelius Hall and was the wife of the late Robert T. Borden who died in
1997.
Mrs. Borden was a graduate of the
Bridgeton High School Class of 1941. She had been employed as a teller
with the former Bridgeton National Bank for 38 years after which she was
a homemaker.
She attended Christ Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Bridgeton and enjoyed visiting with her family as
well as cooking, going to casinos and caring for her siblings.
Surviving are a stepson, Robert
Borden, Jr. and his wife Nelda of Monroe, Oregon; two brothers, Harry L.
Hall of Pittsgrove Township and James D. Hall and his wife Sally of
Bridgeton; two sisters, Doris E. Amos of Phoenix, Arizona and Blanche E.
Davis and her husband Norman of Bridgeton and many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside funeral services
will be held at the convenience of the family at Overlook Cemetery in
Bridgeton where the interment will follow the services in the family
plot.
Arrangements are under the direction
of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
The family asks that memorial
contributions in Mrs. Borden’s memory be made to the Christ Evangelical
Lutheran Church, 35 Bank Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
