Patricia Holland, age 63, of
Millville died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Cooper Medical Center in
Camden where she had been a patient for six days following an extended
illness.
Born in Washington, D.C. the daughter
of the late Lewis Allen and Lillian Smith, she was the wife of Hezekiah
Holland, Jr. She had been a Millville resident for many years moving
there from Port Norris.
Mrs. Holland had previously been
employed with the Riggins and Robbins Oyster Company in Port Norris and
with Wheaton Glass Company in Millville.
She was a member of the John Wesley
United Methodist Church in Port Norris.
In addition to her husband, she is
survived by three daughters, Latonya Holland, Patricia Holland and Lisa
Holland all of Millville; a son, Hezekiah Holland, III of Millville; her
longtime companion, Thomas Beachaump of Millville; four sisters, Cheryl
of Tampa, FL, Debra of Cleveland, OH and Dorothy and Beverly both of
Baltimore, MD; a brother, Ricky Smith of Topeka, KS; her best friend,
Louise Spence of Millville, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Holland and two brothers,
Lewis Allen and Charles Smith.
Funeral services will be held at the
Shiloh Baptist Church, Memorial Avenue, Port Norris on Saturday,
September 8th at 1 p.m.
Burial will take place at Haleyville
Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Township.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11
a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
