Robert E. Solomon, age 64, of
Millville died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at South Jersey Regional
Medical Center where he had been a patient for one week. He had been in
declining health for several years.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of
the late Evelyn Lore Springer and had been a Millville resident for the
past 12 years. Prior to that he had resided in Newport.
Mr. Solomon had previously been
employed at the Downe Township Convenience Center and the former
American Clam Company in Maurice River Township.
He is survived by three sons, Robert
“Harry” Solomon, Douglas D. Solomon and Johnathan E. Solomon; two
daughters, Rebecca Ann Bojaciuk and Lisa M. Carmon; a brother, John
Springer, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was predeceased by a
son, Joseph W. Solomon.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Newport Baptist Cemetery on
Monday, September 10th at 10 a.m. where the interment will follow the
services.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Solomon’s memory be made to the charity of
one’s choice.
