William E. Bock, Sr.

William E. Bock, Sr., age 63, of Vineland died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia where he had been a patient for two days.

The husband of Judith Ann Mullen Bock he was the son of the late Willis Bock and Rachel Adams Bock and was born in Uniontown, PA on July 20, 1944. He had been a Vineland resident for 42 years and prior to that had resided in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bock was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict having served with the United States Army.

He was currently employed with the Southern State Correctional Facility in Leesburg where he had worked for 20 years. Before that he was employed with Maul Brothers Machine Company in Millville for 23 years.

A member of P.B.A. 105-Trenton, he greatly enjoyed time spent with his grandson, Braydon Bock and was a Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Pittsburg Steelers Fan in addition to being an avid motorcyclist and Harley Davidson enthusiast.

In addition to his wife and grandson, survivors include a son, William E. Bock, Jr. and his wife Heather of Millville; five sisters, Ronnie “Sis” Cooney of Bridgeton, Jean Charlton of Millville and Annabell Springer, Patricia Chrise and Janice Kaczmarek all of Uniontown, PA and two brothers, Ron Bock and Tom Anderson both of Uniontown, PA. He was predeceased by two sisters, Pearl Vonek and Sandra Mooney.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will take place at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Township.

Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
