Evelyn G. Garrison, age 92, of
Pittsgrove died unexpectedly on Friday, April 4, 2008 at South Jersey
Hospital-Elmer.
Born in Templetown, PA, the daughter of the late James H. Bell and Ida
Mae Yohe Bell she was the wife of the late Mahlon A. Garrison, Sr. who
died in 1986. She had been a Pittsgrove Township resident since 1947.
Mrs. Garrison was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church and the
United Methodist Women.
Surviving are two sons, Richard A. Bell and his wife Eleanor of Upper
Deerfield Township and Mahlon “Rusty” Garrison, Jr. and his wife Shelly
of Pittsgrove; three grandchildren, Richard Bell, Jr. and wife Carole,
Dustin J. Garrison and wife Suzanne and Megan Garrison and friend A.J.
Betterelli and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Ashton. She was
predeceased by a son, Edwin C. Garrison, a step-daughter, Josephine
Newell, two brothers, William and Fred Bell and four sisters, Helen Toey,
Edna Johns, Margaret Counassee and Naomi Christy.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday, April 9th at 11
a.m.
Burial will take place at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the
services at the funeral home.
