Loving wife, mother, grandmother,
sister and daughter, Martha J. Orange, 52, of Deerfield Township, died
at her home on Monday evening, April 7, 2008. She had been in failing
health for the past 7 months.
The wife of Larry J. Orange, she was born in Bridgeton and was the
daughter of Shirley Rauner Watson of Upper Deerfield Township and the
late Curtis N. Watson, Jr. She had lived at her present address for 28
years and prior to that had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton
area.
Until her health failed, she had been employed with the Bridgeton Onized
Federal Credit Union at the Bridgeton and Vineland offices for 7 years.
Martha was avid traveler and loved going to the Caribbean and cruising.
She deeply loved her grandchildren and was an Elvis Presley fan.
Besides her husband and mother, survivors include: one daughter, Thera
Vargas and her husband Al, Millville; one son, Larry J. Orange, Jr.,
Deerfield Township; two sisters, Venus W. Lawrence, Hopewell Township
and Judy L. Calloway, Bridgeton; a half-brother, Curtis Palmer,
Millville and three grandchildren, Macee, Ava and Ethan.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday morning, April 11th at
11 a.m.
Cremation and inurnment will follow the services at Laurel Lawn
Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning between 9 and 11
a.m.
