Lois H. Dallett, 77, of Bridgeton,
died Tuesday Dec. 30, 2008, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden,
where she had been a patient for the past 3 weeks. Her death was
unexpected.
The wife of Wilmer M. Dallett, she
was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Albert Horner and
Hilda Polkinhorn Horner. She had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Prior to her retirement, Lois had
worked in the Bridgeton Junior High School cafeteria for 23 years. She
had also been employed with New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and the former
J. C. Penney Store in Bridgeton.
She was a member of Pearl Street
Baptist Church and the church choir. She enjoyed ceramics.
Besides her husband, survivors include: two sons, Rodger Dallett,
Vineland and Gary Dallett and his wife Debbie, Hammonton; one daughter,
Cheryl Repici and her husband David, Cape May Court House; one sister,
Janet Gaunt and her husband Richard, Sewell; six grandchildren, Chad
Dallett, Jessica Dallett, Samantha Dallett, Laurel Repici, Taryn Repici
and Kathryn Repici; a brother-in-law, Howard Dallett and his wife Sally,
Vineland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township,
on Wednesday morning, January 7th at 11 a.m. with her pastor, Rev. James
Sheldon, officiating.
Burial will be at Overlook Cemetery,
Bridgeton.
Friends may call at the funeral home
on Wednesday morning between 9 and 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family
suggests donations be made in Mrs. Dallett’s memory, to Pearl Street
Baptist Church, 139 North Pearl St., Bridgeton, N J 08302. Written
