Leonard M. Davidson, age 69, of
Vineland died Tuesday morning, December 2, 2008 at Genesis-Millville
Center following an extended illness.
Born and raised in Boston,
Massachusetts he had lived in Maryland and Philadelphia before moving to
Vineland in 1970.
Mr. Davidson was the owner and
operator of Pasta Specialties in Vineland until his retirement.
He enjoyed tennis and was a National Ranking Top 30 Junior Tennis Player
in 1954. In 1955 he won the Boston City Singles and Doubles in High
School.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years,
Rita (Glazer) Davidson of Vineland; two sons, Reuel Davidson and his
wife Louann of Vineland and Jon Davidson of Margate; a daughter, Regan
Guglielmi of Absecon and three grandchildren, Shana Davidson of
Vineland, Gavin Guglielmi of Absecon and Joshua Davidson of Vineland.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Thursday afternoon, December 4th at 2 p.m.
Relatives and friends will be
received from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Alliance
Cemetery in Norma.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Davidson’s memory be made to the charity of
one’s choice.
