Geoffrey Taylor, 51, of High Point,
NC, formerly of Greenwich, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at High
Point Regional Hospital. Although he had been in declining health his
passing was unexpected.
The husband of Mary J. “Peaches”
Taylor, nee Clark, he was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late
John N. Taylor and Elaine E. Gould Taylor. He had been a resident of
High Point for the past year.
Geoffrey had formerly been employed
as a computer programmer. He enjoyed computers and cooking.
Besides his wife, survivors include:
four sisters, Elaine E. “Sis” Pabon, Philadelphia, PA, Marilyn “Woogie”
Gingham, Vineland, Sharon Teasly, Casper, Wyoming and Donna Rodriguez
(Johnny), Coatesville, PA; three brothers, Thomas “Bunk” Taylor,
Willingboro, Ronald E. Taylor (Loretta), Fairfield Township and Alan
Edward Taylor, Richmond, VA; two aunts, Senora Walton, New York and
Doris Gould, Edison and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by three brothers, Wayne Taylor, John Taylor and Rodger Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township,
on Wednesday afternoon, January 7th, at 3 pm.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home
on Wednesday afternoon between 2 and 3 pm.
