Beverly Ann Harris, age 57, of
Greenbelt, Maryland and formerly of Bridgeton died Wednesday, January
23, 2008 in Maryland.
Born March 1, 1950 in Bridgeton she
was the daughter of the late Irene Mathews Harris and Charles Harris.
Beverly attended the Gouldtown
Elementary School until the age of 9 when her mother decided to relocate
to Boston, Massachusetts where she continued her education and graduated
from the Boston Girls High School in 1968.
After her graduation she had two
daughters, Bryna E. Harris and Yarna B. Harris and later moved to
Maryland.
In addition to an active business
life as a real estate property manager for 20 years and then an
accountant for a medical facility both in Maryland she also led an
active church life. Her hardworking nature and sweet spirit made her an
extremely valuable and desired member of many church families. She
continued this legacy by raising her girls actively in the church also.
In addition to her daughters, she leaves to mourn a host of relatives
including one remaining aunt, Bernice Hopkins, many cousins who thought
of her more as a sibling, church families, friends and co-workers.
Funeral services will be held on
Wednesday, January 30th at 1 p.m. at the Crusaders for Christ Church,
Reeves Road, Bridgeton.
Burial will take place at Cedar Hill
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12
to 1 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
