Willie B. Holt, aged 80, of
Bridgeton, died at the South Jersey HospiceCare Unit in Bridgeton, on
Wednesday, January 23, 2008, after a brief illness.
The son of the late Willie L. Holt and Lula Mae Harvey Holt, he was born
in Dublin, Georgia. He had been a Bridgeton resident for the past 56
years, coming to the area from Georgia.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed with the former P. J.
Ritter Co. and Hunt-Weston Foods, both in Bridgeton. Willie had also
been self employed as an electrician.
Survivors include: one brother, Eddie Lee Holt, Jacksonville, Fla.; one
sister, Doris Barlow, Salem and several nieces and nephews, including a
special niece, Lisa Orr of Bridgeton. He was preceded in death by two
brothers, R. C. Holt and Raymond Holt.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday afternoon, February 1st,
at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at Cedar Hill
Memorial Park, Hopewell Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral
home on Monday afternoon between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. Written condolences
