Randolph E. Camper, Jr., age 47, of
Port Norris, affectionately known as “Randy” by his family and friends
departed this life suddenly on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the South
Jersey Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. He had been in declining
health for several years.
Born in Port Norris he was the son of the late Randolph E. Camper, Sr.
and Mary Johnson Camper. He had been living in Ohio and California for
several years and had recently moved back to this area living both in
Millville and Port Norris.
Randy was educated in the Millville and Port Norris school systems. A
loving person who deeply loved his family he enjoyed life and lived it
to the fullest. He especially enjoyed his Wednesday evening Bible Study.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Rando of Philadelphia and Hassan of Vineland;
four aunts, Juanita Chin and Ernestine Camper of Port Norris and Phyllis
Jamison and Barnetta Davis of Millville; two uncles, Elder Andrew Chin
of Port Norris and George Jamison of Millville along with a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th at 1 p.m. at the
Shiloh Baptist Church, Memorial Avenue, Port Norris.
Burial will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial
Township.
Friends may call on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the services at
the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME,
Cedarville.
