Herbert L. Williams, 65, of
Bridgeton, died in the Lincoln Center, Vineland, on Friday morning, July
4, 2008.
He was born in Monroeville and was the son of the late Robert J.
Williams and Edna Gregg Williams. He had been a Bridgeton resident for
the past 25 years and prior to that had lived in Elmer and Shiloh.
Retired for the past 13 years, due to failing health, he had owned and
operated Williams Trucking for several years.
Herb loved playing cards and being with his family.
Survivors include: two daughters, Micki Craver (David), Alloway and Tina
Williams, Fairton; two sons, Herbert L. Williams, Jr. (Jackie), Laurel
Lake and Howard J. Williams (Veronica), Vineland; three sisters, Ruth
Moore, Elmer, Peggy Fuerneisen, Stow Creek Township and Sue Jenkins,
Bridgeton; three brothers, Billy Williams, Shiloh, James Williams, Stow
Creek Township and Jay Williams, Cocke County, Tenn.; twelve
grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
three brothers, Oliver Williams, Charles Williams and John Williams and
a sister, Dean Politis.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, N. J., on Wednesday morning, July
9, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Centerton Free Will Baptist
Cemetery, Pittsgrove Townshbip. A viewing will be held at the funeral
home on Wednesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock. Written
