Florence E. Cobb, 75, of Cedarville,
died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
The wife of Joseph B. Cobb, Sr., she was born August 3, 1932, in
Vineland and was the daughter of the late Thomas Lake and Leda Messick
Lake.
Florence was a formerly employed with Colonial Applicator, Tuscarora
Plastics and Wheaton Glass Co.
She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite teams (New
York Mets and San Francisco 49er’s) play. Florence enjoyed watching
stories and the game show channel on T.V. and also loved to spoil her
dog Gudo.
Besides her husband, she leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter,
Ledamarie Garcia and her husband Kenny of Laurel Lake; three sons, son
John and wife Phyllis of Bridgeton, Joseph, Jr. and wife Leslie of
Cedarville and Patrick of Millville; eight grandchildren; thirteen great
grandchildren; a cousin, Thomas D. Lake, Hopewell Township;
brother-in-law, Maurice Cobb, Sr. (Jean), Cedarville; sisters-in-law,
Barbara Fithian (Charles), Fairton, Ann Cobb, Millville, Beulah Cobb,
Bridgeton, Geneva Cobb, Millville and Dorothy Cobb and Juanita Cobb,
both of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held for the family at the PADGETT
FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville.
