James E. Frazier, Sr., age 68, of
Upper Deerfield Township died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 11, 2008
following an extended illness.
Born in Bridgeton, the son of the late James E. Wilmore and Ivory
Frazier LeGrand he was the husband of the late Harriet Taylor Frazier.
He had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 12 years and had
lived in Bridgeton most of his life.
Prior to his retirement due to disability James had been employed in the
construction trade with Union Local 222 in Camden.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Cedarville.
Survivors include a son, James E. Frazier, Jr. of Bridgeton; five
daughters, Elsie Thomas of Bridgeton, Kera Brown of Fairfield Township,
Olena Brown of Bridgeton, Diane Fentress of Millville, Shamika Slater of
Vineland, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, June 17th at 12 noon.
Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the
services at the funeral home.
