Kurt W. Griffin, Jr., 24, of
Millville, died suddenly at the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center on
Monday, June 16, 2008.
He was born in Jersey City and was the son of Teri Miles of Millville
and Kurt Griffin of Bombay, N. Y. He had been a resident of Millville
since 1991.
Kurt had been employed with Wallgreen’s Pharmacy in Millville and had
also worked for Durand Glass Co. in Millville.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was a devoted Dallas
Cowboy fan.
Besides his parents, survivors include: one daughter, Aaliyah Griffin,
Millville; two sisters, DeAwanna Griffin Staten Island, N. Y. and Tamera
“Tammy” Griffin, Millville; his maternal grandmother, Minister Laura
Miles, Montclair; maternal grandfather, Andrew Miles, Bridgeton; three
nephews, Shawn McLemore, Neziah Buckner and Anthony “Pop Pop” Harris and
four special friends, Leroy Nettles, Harvey Bluitt, Nicky Bogan and
Kyreen Kelly and his devoted God-Brother, Davious “Man Man” Jeffries,
Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning, June 27th at 11a.m. at the
In His Presence Worship Center, 221 East Broad St., Millville.
Burial will be private at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
A viewing will be held at the church on Friday morning between 9 and 11
a.m. at the church.
