Daisy E. Guyer, age 87, of Fairfield
Township died Friday, March 14, 2008 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical Center. Though she had been in declining health for the past
year her death was unexpected.
Born in Hollidaysburg, PA, she was
the daughter of the late Samuel Campbell and Edna McIntyre Campbell. The
wife of the late Warren “Whitey” Guyer, Sr. who died in 1984, she had
been a Fairfield Township resident for 57 years moving here form
Pennsylvania.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Guyer
had been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for 29
years.
She was a member of the Fairfield
Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Diana M.
Zimmerman and her husband Kenneth of Newport and Donna Johnson and her
husband Roger of Pittsgrove; two sons, Warren W. Guyer, Jr. of
Jacksonville, FL and Edward E. Guyer of Fairfield Township along with
seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by
nine brothers, two sisters and a half-sister.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Wednesday, March
19th at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Greenwood
Memorial Park in Millville.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10
a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
