Lloyd M. Lovell, 51, of Millville,
died suddenly in Maurice River Township, on Wednesday evening, March 26,
2008, as the result of injuries received when his truck was struck by a
trailer while returning home from work.
The husband of Melinda Williamson Lovell, he was born in Newport, Tenn.,
and was the son of the late Joseph Price Lovell and Junella Holt Lovell.
He had resided in Millville for the past 20 years, coming to the area
from Newport, Tenn.
Lloyd had been employed as a Senior Corrections Officer with Southern
State Correctional Facility for the past 5 years.
He was an avid golfer and motorcyclist and was a member of the New
Jersey P.B.A. #105.
Besides his wife, survivors include, one daughter, Nicole Lovell,
Millville; his mother-in-law, Ada Faye Williamson, Newport, Tenn., one
brother, Julius A. Lovell, Upper Deerfield Township; three sisters, Judy
Gribble, Bybee, Tenn., Molly Lovell OčNeil, Bybee, Tenn., and Beverly
Ediss, Vineland; brothers-in-law, Steve and Tamra Williamson, Newport,
Tenn. and Scott Williamson, Dandridge, Tenn.; and several nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday morning, April 3, at
11 očclock. Burial will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday
evening between 6 and 8 očclock and on Thursday morning between 9 and 11
očclock.
