Anna L. Wolbert, 90, of Fairfield
Township, died at the Cumberland Manor on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She
had been in failing health for the past 3 years.
The wife of the late Melvin C. Wolbert, she was born in Bridgeton and
was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. Sheppard and Mary Mounts
Sheppard. She had lived at her present address since 1955 and had been a
resident of Fairfield Township since 1944.
Anna was a Registered Nurse by profession and prior to her retirement in
1988, she had been employed with the former Bridgeton Hospital for 50
years.
She was a member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary L. Groff, Medford and Lois A.
Duckardt, Pittsgrove Township; one son, James M. Woolbert, Apopka, Fl.;
four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in
death by two sisters, Sara Toy and Thelma A. Horner.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Tuesday morning, March 25th, at
11:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends
may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00
O’clock. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations, in Mrs.
Wolbert’s memory, to Fairfield Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 68,
