Charlotte L. Woodward, 67, of
Bridgeton, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday morning, March 30,
2008.
The wife of the late Donald B. Woodward, she was born in Bridgeton and
was the daughter of the late Charles McPherson and Dorothy Wood
McPherson. She had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Charlotte had been employed for six years as a driver with Sheppard Bus
Service in Fairton, until her retirement in 2007. Prior to that she
worked at Val Mode Lingerie in Bridgeton for 17 years.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert B. Woodward, Bridgeton and Donald
Woodward, Jr., Bridgeton; one sister, Dale Capps, Bridgeton; one
brother, Ellis “Bob” McPherson, Bridgeton; a granddaughter, Hollie
Bedford and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
grandson, Ryan Woodward and a brother, Charles “Alfie” McPherson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday morning, April 4, at
11:00 O’clock.
Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning between
10:00 and 11:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the family
