Betty G. Cunningham, age 73, of
Pittsgrove died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the South Jersey HospiceCare
Unit in Bridgeton following an extended illness.
Born in Bridgeton on July 20, 1934
she was the daughter of the late Arthur Woolbert and Pearl Donelson
Woolbert and was the wife of the late Jimmy H. Cunningham who died in
1999. She was a longtime Pittsgrove Township resident and had lived with
her daughter Patti S. Murphy and her husband Bart for several years.
Betty was an avid reader and liked
going to the Casinos and out to dinner but most of all loved being with
her family.
In addition to her daughter Patti,
she is survived by daughters Sandy K. Lynch of Elmer and Judy L. Kozma
of Upper Deerfield Township; a sister, Lois Moore and her husband
Sherman of Elmer; three sister in laws, Norma Woolbert of AZ, Mary Lou
Helton of AL and Catherine Cunningham of MO; 7 grandchildren, BJ,
Crystal, Rendina, Jaime, Jake, Billy and Patrick; 7 great-grandchildren,
Marc, Jeremias, Christin, Sabastian, Ariana, Nathan and Jocelyn and
several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Jimmy H. Cunningham, Jr. in 1980, 4
brothers, Howard, Alex, Clarence and George Woolbert and two sisters,
Fannie Shipley and Mattie Watson.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Friday, May 16th at 12 noon.
Burial will take place at Olivet
Cemetery in Pittsgrove Township.
Friends may call on Friday from 11
a.m. to 12 noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
