Cheryl A. Erving, 40, of Bridgeton,
died unexpectedly in Grandview Memorial Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., on
Monday, May 19, 2008, after being stricken while working in
Pennsylvania.
She was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of Lillian De Lois Fuqua
Morrison of Bridgeton and Robert Durms of Belle Glade, Fla. She had been
a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Cheryl had been employed as a driver with Bailey Medical Transportation
Co. in Bridgeton. Prior to that she had worked in the Subway Deli at the
WalMart Store in Upper Deerfield Township.
She was a member of St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church of Bridgeton.
Besides her parents, survivors include: four sons, Isaiah Thomas, Donald
Thomas, Donovan Thomas and Dontee Thomas, all of Bridgeton. She was
preceded in death by a son, Zebedee R. Erving in March of 2008.
Funeral services will be held in St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church,
275 Richardson Ave., Bridgeton, on Thursday, May 29th, at 12:00 O’clock
noon. Burial will be at Fordville Memorial Park, Fairfield Township. A
viewing will be held at the church on Thursday morning between 10:00 and
12:00 O’clock. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
