Theodore R. Kelley, age 74, of
Bridgeton died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical Center. He had been in declining health for several months.
The husband of the late Alma M. Kelley he was born in Mardella Springs,
Maryland and was a lifetime Bridgeton resident.
Theodore was formerly employed by the Bridgeton Board of Education for
many years and the Trucksten Construction Company.
He attended the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and
enjoyed bowling and all sports.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer D. Bentley and her husband
Clarence of Vineland and Cecelia M. Webster and her husband Oscar of
Gouldtown; one son, Theodore A. Kelley and his wife Sylvia of Navarre,
Florida; three sisters, Sarah Satterfield, Hazel McCoy and Haddy
Washington; a brother, Marion Adams, eleven grandchildren, twelve
great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was
predeceased by a daughter, Joan Y. Kelley.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 3 p.m. at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township.
Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in
Upper Deerfield Township.
