Dinah Mae Lovett, 62, of Fairfield
Township, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in South Jersey Regional
Medical Center. She had been a patient at the hospital for the past five
weeks.
The daughter of the late Benjamin Smith and Mary Alice Brockington
Smith, she was born in Lake City, S. C., on Oct. 20, 1945. She moved to
Bridgeton when she was 18 years old and had been a resident of this area
ever since.
In addition to raising her children, Dinah worked as a security guard
for over 15 years with the Tri County Security of Vineland until she
took ill. On May 7, 2008 God took her home to rest.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Elaine Lovett,
Bridgeton and Melody Lovett, St. Petersburg, Fl.; three sons, William C.
Lovett, Jr. and Michael W. Lovett, Sr., both of Fairfield Township and
Joseph A. Lovett, Buena; fifteen grandchildren, Michael Lovett, Jr.,
Andrainna Lovett, Joseph Lovett, Jr., Michael K. Lovett, Darryus Pierce,
Demontray Lovett, Michael Cornwell, Jr., Falima Lovett, Devonte Earlen,
Joanna Lovett, Ashley Bell, Samuel Bell, Jr., Tosheonna Lovett, Shania
Bell and Markquese Bell and several cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Saturday, May 17th, at 12:00
O’clock noon.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial
Park, Hopewell Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on
Saturday morning between 11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Written condolences
