Elizabeth L. “Betty” Sparacio, 85, of
Deerfield Township, died in the Rainbow Center, Pittsgrove Township, on
Thursday, May 1, 2008. She had been in failing health for several months
and had been a patient at the nursing home for one week.
The wife of the late Joseph Sparacio, Jr., she was born in Bridgeton and
was the daughter of the late William Garrison and Helen Parsons
Garrison. She had been a resident of Deerfield Township for 58 years.
Betty was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren and watching soap
operas on television.
Survivors include: two sons, Joseph R. Sparacio and his wife Sandra,
Deerfield Township and William L. Sparacio and his wife Sherry, Upper
Deerfield Township; one daughter, Helen F. Sparacio, at home; and with
love and gratitude our very special friend and her daughter-in-law, Mary
Sayres of Monroeville; one brother, Robert Garrison, Bridgeton; six
grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
a brother, Harold Garrison of Mt. Holly.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family, in
the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
Township. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell Township.
