Stanley C. Kaszula, 86, of Upper
Deerfield Township, died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009. He had
been in failing health for the past 2 years.
The husband of the late, Mary
Elizabeth “Betty” Romer Kaszula, who passed away in January of 1999, he
was born in Brotmanville and was the son of the late Christopher Kaszula
and Magdelena Kostanchak Kaszula. He had lived at his present address
since 1965 and prior to that had resided in Centerton and Olivet.
Prior to his retirement in 1986,
Stanley had been employed with the former Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in
Bridgeton for 29 years.
He was a veteran of World War Two,
serving with the U. S. Army in the European Theater.
He attended the First Wesleyan Church in Upper Deerfield Township and
had assisted with the U. S. D. A. Food Distribution Program in Upper
Deerfield Township.
Survivors include: one daughter,
Sharon E. Berkey, Upper Deerfield Township; one son, Richard S. Kaszula,
Richland; three grandchildren, Suzanne Shipley, Upper Deerfield,
Christina Dolson, Sicklerville and Bobbie Leeann Shipley, Upper
Deerfield and two great grandsons, Christopher Dolson and Zachery Dolson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Antoinette Kaszula and three
brothers, Joseph Kaszula, Julius Kaszula and Thomas Kaszula.
Funeral services will be held at the
First Wesleyan Church, 200 West Laurel Heights Drive, Upper Deerfield
Township, on Monday, afternoon, Feb. 9th, at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery,
Bridgeton.
Friends may call at the church on
Monday afternoon between 12 and 1 p.m. prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers the family
suggests donations to the New Jersey Chapter, American Parkinson Disease
Association, P. O. Box 214, Elizabeth, NJ 07207.
