Elinor L. Tatman, age 91, of Hopewell
Township died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at South Jersey Hospital-Elmer.
She had been in declining health for the past two years.
Born in Millville on March 19, 1917
she was the daughter of the late William Lore and Frances Carroll Lore
and the wife of the late Gilbert “Gib” Tatman. She had been a Hopewell
Township resident since 1965 and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Tatman
had been employed with Colonial Bank in Bridgeton.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s
Episcopal Church in Bridgeton and the Ladies Auxiliary of American
Legion Shoemaker Post 95 also in Bridgeton.
Surviving are two nephews, William J.
Morvay and his wife Barbara of Cedarville and Edward S. Morvay and his
wife Darlene of Vineland and a niece, Michelle Murray and her husband
Joseph of Rahway. She was predeceased by a brother, William D. Lore, Jr.
Graveside funeral services will be
held at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township on Saturday, March
21st at 10 a.m. where the interment will follow the services.
