Wilbert E. Brown, age 82, of
Quinton Township died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the South Jersey
Regional Medical Center. He had been in declining health for the past
five years.
Mr. Brown was born in Quinton and
was the son of the late Isaac J. Brown and Anna Bell Pitts Brown. He
was a Quinton area resident most of his life.
A nurseryman by trade, he had been
employed with the Ackerboom Nursery for many years.
Mr. Brown was a member of Haven
United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sisters,
Marguerite J. Brown of Quinton Township and Oleta Brown and Mabel
Taylor both of Bridgeton; a brother, Major Brown of Quinton Township
and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers,
Herb, Harold and George Brown and three sisters, Marion Taylor, Della
Brown, Olive Pierce and Alice Seeney.
Funeral services will be held at
the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield
Township on Thursday, October 1st at 11 AM.
Burial will take place at Cedar
Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends will be received on
Thursday from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services at the funeral home.
