Mary Magdalene Boney Drew of Magnolia, NC, departed her earthly life on the early morning of November 30, 2019 while at the Gardens of Rose Hill. Drew and wife Regina, Zoe Drew, all of Magnolia and Sue Anne Cavenaugh and husband Davey of Wallace; sisters--Pearl Grant, Martha Pruitt; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and special friend Betty Newkirk.
Mrs. Drew was a very industrious lady who raised her six children on the family farm outside Magnolia. She enjoyed quilting, canning of vegetables and fruits, and cooking and was especially fond of watching TV. Love for her family was paramount in all earthly things in her life. During her time on earth, she has been very active in her church at Concord Baptist Church of Magnolia.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Concord Baptist Church in Magnolia. Family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services in Wallace and at other times at the home of Zoe Drew in Magnolia. Interment will be in Devotional Gardens of Warsaw. Family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Concord Baptist Church.
