Mr. Albert Curtis Strickland, Sr. age 67 of Willard, NC, went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Padgett Funeral Chapel. Visitation will follow the service. He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Strickland of Willard, one son, Curtis Strickland, II and wife Sondra of Wallace, two grandchildren, Lauren Gammons of Willard and Cayden Strickland of Wallace, one sister, Brenda Sanderson of Richlands and one brother, Kirby Strickland of Warsaw. Born May 2, 1948 in Duplin County, NC, Mr. Strickland was the son of the late Walter Leaion and Margaret Vera Rogers Strickland and was a member of Four Oaks Baptist Church in Four Oaks, NC.
