Anita Simmons Boykin of Wallace passed from her earthly life during the early morning of Monday, February 22, 2021 while at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC.  Born in Dale County, AL, she is the daughter of the late Exum Ward Simmons, Sr. and Lena Raynor Peoples.

Left to cherish her memory are her son--Dennis Alan Bitt of Mayodan, NC and brother--Bruce Simmons of Wallace.  Anita has been a resident of the Briancenter of Wallace for the last seversal years.
