Mrs. Annie Thigpen age 75 of Magnolia died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Carolina East Hospice Care Center in Kenansville. She is survived by four children, Anne Wells of Dudley, Brenda Gideon and husband Glenn and Melvin Boone and husband Nancy of Wallace, Allen Boone and wife Shelby of Teachey; eight grandchildren, Steven Wells, Stephanie Wells, Tammy Sholar, Jeremy Gideon, Rhonda Irvy, Eric Boone, Brandy Boone, Brittni Boone and seven great grandchildren. A native of Duplin County, she is the daughter of the late Roland Thigpen and Gladys Savage. She is preceded in death by her husband of Hubert Boone of 40 years. Mrs. Boone enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching her grandchildren play ball and listening to Gospel music.
