Mrs. Annie Laura Parker Bland, of Wallace, NC, died on February 7, 2017 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Wallace, NC. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC conducted by Rev. Elijah Heath. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Bland and wife Shauna and Samuel Bland, her siblings, Clarence Parker and wife Deloris, Vissie Blanton, Jack Parker and wife Hazel, Thurman Parker and wife Eleanor, James Parker and wife Linda, Ernest Parker, Patsy Kennedy, Sandra Maready, Lonnie D. Parker and wife Carolyn and Roy G. Parker and wife Lynn, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was born on May 24, 1944 in Duplin County, NC to the late Alonza D. and Hazel Henderson Parker. She is also predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Bland, her son, Michael Bland, her siblings, German Parker, Claudie Parker, Catherine Wells and John Dawson Parker.

She was a member of The Church of Christ in Beulaville. She was very faithful to her church and loved traveling, word searches and puzzles.

Casket Bearers will be Annie's brothers.
