Annie Kathleen Parker Cottle of Wallace, NC passed from her earthly life late in the evening of Sunday, January 10, 2021 while at the home of her daughter in Apex, NC.  Born in Duplin County on October 28, 1924, she is the daughter of the late William and Mary Walker Parker. She is also preceded in death by her husbands—Roy Lee Cottle who died in World War II and Haywood William Cottle; siblings—Pearl Parker Cottle, Roy Lee Parker, and Hazel Parker Anderson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children—Sharon Ann Cottle Pate of Watha Cecelia Cottle Houston and husband Wesley Wade of Apex; siblings Emory Parker and wife Pat of Deep Bottom, Gene Ray Parker and wife Jackie of Deep Bottom, and Calista Parker English and husband Billy of Wilmington; grandchildren—Jason William Sheffield of Surf City, Jill Marie Sheffield Halso of Wallace, and William Wesley Houston and wife Leslie of Evans, GA.

A mass to honor her life is set for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in the Wallace Catholic Church with interment in the Parker Family Cemetery at Deep Bottom.  Serving as casket bearers are:  Jason Sheffield, Jill Halso, William Houston, Jordan Henderson, Ireland Halso, and Jessie Lee.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is serving the Cottle family.
