Mrs. Arlyne Helen Frances Angell Smith age 76 of Rose Hill, formerly of Wallace died Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Rosemary Rest Home in Rose Hill. She is survived by one son, James R. Smith of Wilmington, two daughters, Twila Smith and Barbara Smith Corbett, both of Wallace, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one brother, Roy Angell of Nevada and one sister, Peggy Mackey of California Born in Bronx, New York, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Roy Milton and Margaret Finucan Angell and was of the Catholic Faith. She loved her pets, reading, the weather and watching Jeopardy. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Robert (Bob) C. Smith, and a grandson, Jason Lanier. Honorary bearers will be Dwayne Bishop, Brian Taylor, Joshua Henderson, Franklin Stanley and Chris Merritt.
