Mrs. Audra Kathleen Hoover of Harrells, NC left her earthly life on the evening of Tuesday, March 24, 2020 while at her son's house in Clayton, NC.  Born in Berkley, WV on September 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Enoch H. and Bertha Dickens Stover.  Also preceding her in death are her husband--Henry Thomas Hoover, Sr.; siblings--Charlotte Stover, Margaret Manley, and Clifford Stover.

Left to cherish her memory are her son--Henry Thomas "Tommy" Hoover, Jr. and wife Gail of Clayton; grandchildren--Ashley Poole of Clayton, Michael B. Poole and wife Angie of Garner; and great granddaughter--Taylor Batson of Clayton.

Mrs. Kathleen spent her early life in Berkley, WV where she was born.  Upon her marriage to Henry Thomas Hoover, Sr., she became a farmers wife in Harrells, North Carolina.  Her work career was spent in helping her husband on the farm where she also took care of her family.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at the graveside at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2020 in the Riverview Memorial Cemetery in Watha.  Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made in her memory to Lower Cape Fear Hospice--1414 Physicians Drive--Wilmington, NC.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the Hoover family.
