Mr. Bert Arthur Lamb, age 76 of Wallace, NC, left this earthly life for his eternal life on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Padgett Funeral Home Chapel in Wallace, NC, conducted by Reverend Jimmy Johnson. Bert is survived by his wife, Fannie Mae Lamb of Wallace, NC, a sister, Frances Maxwell of Columbia, MO, two step sons, Brent Lamb and wife Cindy of Beech Grove, TN and Thomas Spence and wife Jane of Wirtz, VA and three step daughters, Dottie Butler and husband David of Jefferson, GA, Mary Batchelor of Grifton, NC and Faye Wadsworth and husband Bobby of Watha, NC. Born on August 1, 1938 in Jackson County, MO, Bert was the son of the late Fred and Ruby (Lamb) Lamb. His hobbies included gardening, playing games on the computer and spending time with his family and friends.
