Mrs. Betty Knowles Booy, age 76 of Wallace, NC, went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Graveside Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC conducted by Rev. Phil Eakins. The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of Ed and Eunice Jackson in Teachey, NC. She is survived by her brother, Alan Knowles and wife Val of Myrtle Beach, SC, her sister, Eunice Jackson and husband Ed of Teachey, NC, her granddaughter, Samantha Booy and numerous nephews and nieces. She was born on February 5, 1939 in Duplin County, NC to the late Kenneth and Catherine Padgett Knowles. She is also predeceased by her husband, D. E. (Ted) Booy and a step son, Adrian Booy.
