Blenda Faye Brinkley McLamb of Willard passed quietly from her earthly life during the morning of Tuesday, June 25, 2019 while at home.  Born January 22, 1944, she is the daughter of the late Burean Uriah and Eileen Carter Brinkley.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband--Coke Gabriel Mclamb; son--Robbie McLamb and wife Monica of Willard; daughter--Amy Williamson and husband Toby of Clayton, NC; grandchildren--Joshua McLamb and wife Brittany of Willard, Courtney McLamb of Willard, and Katie Williamson of Clayton; great grandchildren--Kagen McLamb and McKinley McLamb of Willard; siblings--Linda Hollingsworth of Wallace, Buren Brinkley, Jr and wife Sharon of Willard, Peggy Sholar and husband David of Wallace, Kay Willard of Rose Hill; brother-in-law--Kevan McLamb of Willard; sister-in-law--Pattie Deen and husband Chris of Fayetteville, AR.

Mrs. McLamb led a life of accommodating and giving to others.  A very artistic talent gave her the ability to paint, draw and do portraits.  She enjoyed gardening, yard work, cooking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and cross-stitching.  There was also a special love for roses.  Exceeding most all other things in life is the love of her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She accepted everyone she met as a part of her family while making them feel like her family.

There will be a graveside service to honor her life on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in  the Potts Memorial Church Cemetery of Willard.  Flowers are welcome or please consider a contribution to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center--1407 Physicians Dr.--Wilmington, NC 28401.  Padgett Funeral & Cremation services is assisting the McLamb family.
