Mr. Bobby Lane English, age 53 of Raleigh, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at English Family Cemetery in Wallace, NC conducted by Hal Thorne. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral & Cremation Services in Wallace, NC. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, VanDan Nguyen of Raleigh, NC, two children, Jamie English and Robert English, a sister, Beverly Thigpen and husband Donald Keith of Pink Hill, NC, two brothers, Ronnie English and wife Teresa of Garner, NC, and Donnie English and wife Angie of Wallace, NC, nieces and nephews, Jessica Thigpen, Lisa English, Ashley Raynor, Robyn Britt, Johnna Turner, Travis Ryan Kennedy, Thomas Nguyen, Christina Nguyen, Melanie Nguyen, Amy Nguyen, Alexander Denisowki, and Catherine Denisowki. Born August 5, 1959, Mr. English was the son of Robbie (Hanchey) English and the late Roy James English. Mr. English was a loving husband and father. He loved spending time with his family and friends and would always put his family first in his life. He loved tinkering on computers, building and making things, and loved a challenge. He graduated from Wallace-Rose Hill High School in 1977. Then he attended NC State University and received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
