Mr. Brian Harper Heath age 82 of Teachey, died Friday November 19, 2010 at Milford and Reba Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Ruby Hobbs Heath, of the home, one daughter, Mrs. Judy Heath Delk and husband Dallon Keith, Jr. of Newport News, VA, one son, Ronnie Heath and wife Laura of Wallace, two sisters, Mrs. Trudie Hatcher of Pin Hook and Mrs. Ozzie Swinson of Rocky Mount, three grandchildren, Elena Delk, Jennifer Delk and Audrey James and husband Woody and one great grandchild, Noah James. Born in Lenoir County, Mr. Heath was the son of the late Henry Faison and Myrtle Jarman Heath, Sr. and was a member of Wallace Church of God, Bay Road, Teachey and serve in Peace Time in the Army National Guard. He loved gardening, attending church, reading the bible and loved animals. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Heath. Casketbearers will be Billy Whaley, Buster Tillman, Johnny Jones, Sheldon Mekler, Lloyd Strickland and Bobby Jones.
