Mrs. Carolyn Dixon Wells, age 78 of Wallace, NC, died on September 14, 2016 at Brian Center Health & Rehab in Wallace, NC. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC conducted by Rev. Pat Trobaugh and Rev. David Walker. Burial will follow at Cavenaugh Family Cemetery in Wallace, NC. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ross Allen Wells of Wallace, NC, her daughter, Ginger W. Jenkins of Wallace, NC, her grandchildren, Danielle N. Jenkins, MaKayla E. Jenkins, Rachel C. Jenkins and Ryan A. Jenkins all of Wallace, NC and her sisters-in-law, Annette G. Dixon of Charleston, SC and Jennelle Dixon of Aiken, SC.

She was born on August 29, 1938 in Duplin County, NC to the late Henry James and Vissie Virginia Walker Dixon. She is also preceeded in death by her brothers, Lathan Franklin Dixon, James McBride Dixon and Forrest G. Dixon.

She enjoyed working with flowers and reading. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be Daniel Wells, Mike Walker, Buddy Walker, Stewart Dixon, Ashley Dixon, Jim Moody and Larry Walker.
