Christine Brock Hardison Madison of Fayetteville, NC passed from her earthly life on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, while at home.

She is survived by a son, Rivers Elwood Hardison, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and a daughter Kim Sue Deck of Redding, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joshua Hardison of Warsaw, N.C., a granddaughter Amber C.J. Hardison of Warsaw, Terri McGreevy of Redding, Pa. and grandson Andrew Feeney of Parkton, N.C.; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law Faith Brock of Hope Mills and numerous nieces and nephews and her 4-legged girls Snuggles and Roni.

A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Madison was the daughter of the late Marion and Dessie Brock of Kenansville, N.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Brock Watkins of Wallace, Josephine Smith of Atkinson, Mary Evelyn Brock of Kenansville and brothers Lawrence Brock of Kenansville and Leamon W. Brock of Hope Mills.

She was a former employee of Jeffie-Avanti Knitting and Purolator Products of Fayetteville, N.C.

A service to celebrate Christine's life is set for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the 401 West Main Street chapel of Padgett Funeral and Cremation Services of Wallace. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow the service in the Brock-Kornegay Cemetery of Kenansville, N.C. Rather than floral arrangements, family asks that contributions be made to one's local ASPCA in Christine's memory.
