Cornelia Faye Lewis

Cornelia Faye Wells Lewis departed her earthly life in the early morning of Wednesday, October 7, 2026, while in Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Born on February 22, 1941, she is the daughter of the late Paul and Rachel Hazel English Wells. Also preceding her in death are her husbands—David Robinson, Edward Davenport, and Larry Lewis; her son—David Paul Robinson; and brother—Paul Dean Wells.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Terry Robinson of Greenville (NC); sister—Vivian Brice and husband Victor of Wallace; grandchildren—Shannon, Natasha, Tracey, Michael, and Ashley; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law—Diane Wells of Tarboro; nephews—Dean Wells and Robin Wells of Tarboro; and nieces—Melanie Vinson and Paula Brice of Wallace.

Mrs. Lewis lived in the Wallace area for many years and was a member of the Poston Baptist Church. She had a great love for many extended families during her life time and was a person with good nurturing skills along with the ability to be a wonderful caregiver when needed.
