Mr. Daril Jay Rogers, Sr. age 69 of 511 Jack Dale Road, Wallace died Friday May 8, 2009 at Glencare of Warsaw. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday May 12, 2009 from Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. George \"Buster\" Price and Mr. Larry Murray, Commander of VFW Post 9161. Burial will be at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mrs. Rita Kasbohrer Rogers of the home, a son, Daril Jay Rogers, Jr. and wife Gina of Oklahoma, one daughter, Rita Renee' Rogers Winbon and husband Matt of Kansas, four granddaughters, Traci Rogers Morrison and husband Jason, Megan Rogers Jenkins, Shelby Nicole Winbon and McKenna Brooke Winbon, two great grandchildren, Temper Lane Jenkins and Raegen Jae Morrison, four brothers, Thomas Rogers and wife Grace, Roy Rogers and wife Thelma, both of Wallace, Linwood Elmo Rogers and wife Linda of Calabash and Clarence Rogers of Petersburg, Fla., two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn R. Stallings and Violet R. Hatcher, both of Wallace one sister-in-law, Mrs. LaTrelle \"Trelle\" Rogers of Savanah, Ga and several nieces and nephews. A native of Duplin County, Mr. Rogers was the son of the late Kirby Smith and Dollie Elizabeth Mobley Rogers. He also was a veteran of the US Air Force for 12 years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Rogers Dietz and four brothers, Ralph Rogers, Kirby Rogers, David \"Beenie\" Rogers and Lloyd \"Peewee\" Rogers.
