Mr. David Michael \"Hillbilly\" Brice Sr. of Wallace, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Teachey, NC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Wallace Presbyterian Church conducted by Dr. Philip Gladden. Burial will follow at Brice's Cemetery, Wallace, NC. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Padgett Funeral Chapel, Wallace, NC. He is survived by two sons, David Michael Brice, Jr. (Brittnee) of Yulee, FL and James Daniel Brice (Heather) of Wallace, NC, three brothers, Philip Brice (Nancy) of Castle Hayne, NC, William Brice III of Wallace, NC and Tony Brice of Wallace, NC, a sister, Cindy Bron (Jake) of Castle Hayne, NC, and three grandchildren, Dane, Bryan, and Isaiah. Born September 2, 1953 in Wilmington, NC, Mr. Brice was the son of the late William Boney Brice, Jr. and Hilda Wells Brice. Mike attended Wallace Presbyterian Church. For the past 6 years, he was a truck driver for Allens Inc. Mike was the kind of person that never met a stranger. He enjoyed being around people and always brought a smile to their faces. Some of his interests included working in the yard, antique cars, tractors, spoiling his son's dogs and spending time with his family and friends. Casketbearers will be Allen Raynor, Buddy Raynor, Milton Norris, Gregory Brice, Matthew Brice and Benjamen Brice.
