David Harold Salzler, 71, of Teachey, NC died on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Wallace, NC. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace, NC.

David is survived by his wife, Sarah Katherine Salzler of the home, his parents, Harold Charles and Alberta (Ahles) Salzler of FL, two sons, Edgar Charles Salzler and wife Jinky of MO and Brian Andrew Salzler of Teachey, NC, his daughter, Rebecca Angela Anderson of Wilmington, NC, six grandchildren, three sisters, Rosa Cooper of FL, Harriet Killer of FL and Sharon Hontz and husband Homer of FL, his brother, Henry Salzler and wife Linda of FL, many nieces and nephews and his favorite dog, Chico.

David was born on June 18, 1944 in Springfield, NY.

David served his country by serving in the U.S. Navy.
