Davis Roe Ballard, currently of Wallace, passed from his earthly life on the morning of Tuesday, December 6, 2022, while at Wallace Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wallace, NC.  Born on September 20, 1944, he is the son of the late Harold "Hal" Ballard and Janet Smith Ballard.  Also preceding him in death is a brother—Robert "Bob" Ballard.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters—Brenda Ballard Anagnos of South Glastonbury, CT and Lisa Ballard Tremonte of East Hartford, CT; and a sister—Sharan Merriam of Athens, GA.

Mr. Ballard served his country in the United States Navy during the 1970's.  His career involved work as a carpenter in the boat building and restoration industry for many years.
